By law, buses are taken out of service after a specific in-service date regardless of
running condition. This ensures a young fleet of well-maintained in-service buses, and also provides
a source of quality used bus and bus parts for the after market.
We have a Flat-Nosed Genesis Bus that has been taken out of service.
The Front-Mounted T466 Diesel Motor is rated at 190 HP and is FOR SALE.
This motor is in good running condition and will be removed from the bus and prepared for shipment
upon completion of sale.
Typically, we cut the harness, exhaust and cooling system off the motor, but leave
the periferals such as alternator, water pump, and starter.
Because this bus has hydraulic brakes, the motor does not
have an air compressor attached.
Sale includes complete motor, with intake and exhaust manifolds, alternator, and starter,
but does not include wiring harness, trans or other accessories.
The T466 Diesel Motor
is still mounted in the buse and is in good
running condition. You are welcome to come and listen this motor running before
we remove it and scrap the bus.
