By law, buses are taken out of service after a specific in-service date regardless of
running condition. This ensures a young fleet of well-maintained in-service buses, and also provides
a source of quality used bus and bus parts for the after market.
We have several Flat-Nosed Ford / Bluebird Buses that has been taken out of service.
We have both front and rear mounted Cummins 5.9L engines for sale.
The mileage on thise buses generally run from 100,000 - 140,000 Miles.
Typically, we cut the harness, exhaust and cooling system off the motor, but leave
the periferals such as alternator, water pump, and starter.
Sale includes complete motor, with intake and exhaust manifolds, alternator, and starter,
but does not include wiring harness, trans or other accessories.
These Motors are still mounted in buses and is in good
running condition and can be fired up for in-person inspection.
You are welcome to come and listen this motor running before
we remove it and scrap the bus.
