| Description: This is a 1994 Elgin Street Sweeper mounted on a Ford Chassis. It features a large vaccuum container body to collect dirt collected from road surfaces. The machine uses a wide 4'-5' cylindrical brush broom to sweep the main road surface into the collection pan. It also has a 24" rotary brooom that lowers to clean curbside debris. The vehicle has dual controls - standard left-side for driving normally and a second wheel and controls to operate the vehcle along the right edge of the road. The right side controls allow for the operator to see the brooms in action along the curbs. The rear of the machine also has a large vaccuum attachment and hose assembly. |
